Is there any event to update the badge with the app in the background? I also see another plugins to admin the badges but I don't know how to launch this event when I get a notification but I don't open it.

Thanks for the help.

Not sure how to do it from the app, but you can send the badge value from FCM.

Like @gaurav112 said, you can set badge for iOS via FCM when sending a notification, but that doesn't affect android. Is it even possible to set badge for an android device that supports badges with this plugin?

Is there any callback for Notification received via FCM?. We do have the callback in the native android. I could also see some similar Cordova FCM plugins do have the callback for notification received.

I am receiving the badge count via notification payload and need the callback to set the badge in the background without opening the notification/app
