Make it possible to produce machine-readable output.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The output file has a lot of text that is supposed to be humanly readable. A machine-readable format is missing.

Describe the solution you'd like
Make pretty printing optional. Allow the output file to contain machine-readable text.

This needs an option, a layer in the logger and documentation.
