hi,

i'm getting this error when saving my settings/main page in 2.1.1. i have tried issuing this query to upgrade my site as per #9 (comment):

update sites set plan='business' where site_id=2;

... but i still get the warning, even though the row has been correctly updated. the above comment refers to issue #120 which proposes to add a -singledomain flag and is marked as solved through #173, but that only added the create/start/serve commands and not the singledomain thing...

how do i change settings? do i need to sponsor the project? :)

Note that you need to restart goatcounter if you make any changes to the site column, since it's all cached in memory. You shouldn't have to change any of this though, and should be set to "business plus" by default for self-hosted instances. Do you remember what it was set to before?

For self-hosting "custom domain" doesn't really make all that much sense, since you always have a "custom domain" ("custom" meaning "not someting.goatcounter.com"). The entire concept only really applies to goatcounter.com.

Not sure why this error triggers for you 🤔 The logic is pretty simple.

it was set to "free", i believe.

now because of the trouble i have in #570, the error just doesn't trigger at all, but that's because I can't login to the site anymore either. :p

Weird it was set to "free", because that shouldn't happen 🤔

I removed the logic for this; any plan can now use a custom domain. I wanted to make this change anyway, so it no longer matters which "plan" you have.
