"need a business plan to set custom domain" #571
Comments
Note that you need to restart goatcounter if you make any changes to the For self-hosting "custom domain" doesn't really make all that much sense, since you always have a "custom domain" ("custom" meaning "not someting.goatcounter.com"). The entire concept only really applies to goatcounter.com. Not sure why this error triggers for you 🤔 The logic is pretty simple. |
it was set to "free", i believe. now because of the trouble i have in #570, the error just doesn't trigger at all, but that's because I can't login to the site anymore either. :p |
Weird it was set to "free", because that shouldn't happen 🤔 I removed the logic for this; any plan can now use a custom domain. I wanted to make this change anyway, so it no longer matters which "plan" you have. |
hi,
i'm getting this error when saving my
settings/main
page in 2.1.1. i have tried issuing this query to upgrade my site as per #9 (comment):... but i still get the warning, even though the row has been correctly updated. the above comment refers to issue #120 which proposes to add a
-singledomain
flag and is marked as solved through #173, but that only added thecreate/start/serve
commands and not thesingledomain
thing...how do i change settings? do i need to sponsor the project? :)
