Implementing Log4net or Serilog for the logger.

Hi @artehe ,

I tried to implement the logger concept (log4net) for the current build but failed. This is due to multiple concurrency occurring for a single file. Do you have any idea for this process?

I'm fairly sure the mainstream loggers such as Log4net and Serilog should be able to handle concurrency pretty well, could you elaborate a bit more on what you were trying to achieve?

Was it for example replacing all the places that currently use Debug.WriteLine and Console.WriteLine in the actual library with Log.Information etc? As providing some logging functionality which is independent of any implementation would probably be quite useful.

That makes sense! Please proceed further and let us work on it. I will update the changes wherever required.

When we were using text files, I was facing the concurrency issue. I will check from my side and let you know.

I've added it everywhere else that used to write things out and set the debug levels to what I think they should be at first glance.

There might need to be a little adjustment here and then but have a play round with it and let me know what you think
