Card won't work for me

I run the latest version of HA.
Use since years the default climate cards without and problem and want to change to your mini-climate-card as it's much more flexible (or it should be) and it's much more compact.
For instance I have a climate in my kitchen:

The entity ID is automatically generated by the Multimatic integration, I know it's long. Actually it's climate.keuken_21200500202529220938006781n3 and not without n3 as the picture shows.
The default HA climate card works fine:

I installed your repo by HACS. Restared HA afterwards and started to make my first mini-climate card:

As you see the state on the right always remains 'Unavailable'
The entity ID is correct entered.

Any idea how to resolve in order to continue?
Any logs to check?
