Moving parties in list doesn't change order (maybe date issue?)

Working on IRN 1016285
It should read:
Unknown French, France. Mrs. Anne Camordada, Pittsburgh, PA, by 1971; Gift to Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, in 1971.

But if i try to move parties around the paragraph text doesn't change. When I was trying to break it just now, I tried to move "Museum of Art" to the top of the list and it just disappeared, but the text still exists in the paragraph. (screenshot)

This particular object has no date assigned to it, not even a range. I wonder if that's ruining life? It certainly makes the timeline screwy.
