There is no longer a package called ttf-computer-modern in the AUR and installing lyx doesn't help. When trying to compile a pdf with this package I get the following:

Several symbols don't get correctly rendered. This includes sums, square roots, etc...

This might be related with
#67
and
#88.

I also had this problem on Arch - I was able to fix it by manually installing the font files listed at https://github.com/gjtorikian/mathematical#fonts-and-special-notices-for-mac-os-x

The same fonts are also available in python-matplotlib on Arch (community repo), but they also do not work properly. The installation instructions should be corrected to reflect this.
