I use 2.3.x on 16.04 with no issues. I'll try it out for 2.2.3 and ping back in a few hours.

Just installed Ruby 2.2.1 on Ubuntu 16.04. Compiled fine.

$ ruby --version
ruby 2.3.1p112 (2016-04-26 revision 54768) [x86_64-linux]

@belaustegui @Fs02 Can you verify if you have installed all the required packages mentioned on the readme? https://github.com/asdf-vm/asdf. For your ease-of-use I've copy-pasted the command to install the required packages.

sudo apt-get install automake autoconf libreadline-dev libncurses-dev libssl-dev libyaml-dev libxslt-dev libffi-dev libtool unixodbc-dev

Closing the issue. But if you still have problems. Please do let us know.

I've installed it, and I already install ruby 2.2.1 using rvm before decided to move to asdf.
and seems your ruby version still 2.3.1p112 😆

Maybe because ruby 2.2.3 and prior installation requires a patch?

Hi, any news on this? I don't think this issue should be closed

@Fs02 ouch. Yes. Just noticed my ruby version. I didn't change my ruby version after installing the ruby.

I managed to hack it by copying rubies from rvm to asdf installs folder :D

EDIT: It was my bad, I have a typo when installing bundler

Did another test after ensuring appropriate rubies are installed. More details in each section
