Error installing Ruby 2.2.3 #16
Comments
any news for this? I also got the same issue when installing 2.2.1 |
I use 2.3.x on 16.04 with no issues. I'll try it out for 2.2.3 and ping back in a few hours. |
Just installed Ruby 2.2.1 on Ubuntu 16.04. Compiled fine.
@belaustegui @Fs02 Can you verify if you have installed all the required packages mentioned on the readme? https://github.com/asdf-vm/asdf. For your ease-of-use I've copy-pasted the command to install the required packages.
Closing the issue. But if you still have problems. Please do let us know. |
I've installed it, and I already install ruby 2.2.1 using rvm before decided to move to asdf. |
Maybe because ruby 2.2.3 and prior installation requires a patch? |
Hi, any news on this? I don't think this issue should be closed |
@Fs02 will try installing 2.2.3 and post details. |
@Fs02 ouch. Yes. Just noticed my ruby version. I didn't change my ruby version after installing the ruby. |
I managed to hack it by copying rubies from rvm to asdf installs folder :D |
never mind, the bundle command is not working EDIT: It was my bad, I have a typo when installing bundler |
Did another test after ensuring appropriate rubies are installed. More details in each section Ruby 2.2.1
