Bash icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/bash.png We are using an unofficial logo of the GNU Bash project created by Justin Dorfman. It's not clear under which terms it's released. We believe that our adaptation, changing the colours, falls under fair use.

Clojure icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/clojure.png The Clojure logo is owned by Rich Hickey. We are using it to identify the Clojure language itself, not any part of Exercism, which we believe to be admissible under fair use. The version of the logo that we are using is a black/white adaptation of the logo found on clojure.org.

CoffeeScript icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/coffeescript.png We were unable to find a license for the CoffeeScript logo, however we believe that it is owned by Jeremy Ashkenas, who holds the copyright on the CoffeeScript language. We are using the logo to identify the CoffeeScript language itself, not any part of Exercism, which we believe to be admissible under fair use. The version of the logo that we are using is a black/white adaptation of the logo found on coffeescript.org.

Crystal icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/crystal.png The Crystal logo is assumed to be owned by Manas SA. It appears to be released under version 2.0 of the Apache license, along with the Crystal codebase. It may also fall within the public domain, since the version we are using is a geometric shape. We have cropped it for use on Exercism.

D icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/d.png The D "Digital Mars" logo is owned by Digital Mars, Inc. Digital Mars, Inc. allows anyone to use, modify and redistribute the logo provided that the copyright holder is properly attributed. The original image is part of the D programming language "dlang.org" source repository, released under version 1.0 of the Boost Software License. We have modified the image, changing the colour scheme, to create the D icon for Exercism.

Emacs Lisp icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/elisp.png The GNU Emacs icon was designed by Andrew Zhilin and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. We have modified the GNU Emacs icon to create the Emacs Lisp icon for Exercism.

Elixir icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/elixir.png The Elixir logo was designed by José Valim Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license. We adapted this logo using only the basic shape.

Elm icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/elm.png We were unable to find copyright information about the Elm logo, nor information about who designed it. Presumably Evan Czaplicki, creator of the Elm language, also made the logo, and holds copyright. It may also fall within the public domain, since it is a geometric shape. We've adapted the official Elm logo by changing the colors, which we believe falls under "fair use".

Erlang icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/erlang.png The Erlang logo is in the public domain.

F# icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/fsharp.png The F# Software Foundation logo for F# is an asset of the F# Software Foundation. We have adapted it --changing the color-- with permission.

Factor icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/factor.png The Factor "Tyrannosaurus Rex" logo is owned by John Benediktsson. We have adapted it, changing the colour scheme, with his permission.

Lisp Flavoured Erlang icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/lfe.png The LFE logo has been released into the public domain by its author, Duncan McGreggor. We adapted the this logo to create the icon used on Exercism.

Go icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/go.png The Go logo was designed by Renée French, and has been released under the Creative Commons 3.0 Attributions license.

Haskell icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/haskell.png The Haskell icon was designed by Darrin Thompson and Jeff Wheeler. It was released under the HaskellWiki license.

Haxe icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/haxe.png The Haxe logo is assumed to be owned by the Haxe Foundation, but this is not made explicit. We have adapted it, changing the colours, for use on Exercism, which we believe to fall under fair use.

Kotlin icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/kotlin.png The Kotlin icon was designed by JetBrains and may be used in its original form.

Lisp icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/lisp.png The Lisp logo was designed by Xah Lee, and was released into the public domain.

Lua icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/lua.png The Lua icon is inspired by the Lua logo, which was designed by Alexandre Nakonechnyj.

NASM icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/nasm.png The NASM logo is Copyright 2012 H. Peter Anvin. We have adapted it, tweaking the colours, for use on Exercism. We are using it to identify the NASM language and platform itself, not any part of Exercism, which we believe to be admissible under fair use.

Nim icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/nim.png The Nim logo is assumed to be owned by Andreas Rumpf. It appears to be released under the MIT license, along with the Nim codebase. We've adapted the official Nim logo by changing the colors, which we believe falls under fair use.

OCaml icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/ocaml.png The OCaml logo is released under the Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.

PHP icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/php.png The PHP logo is in the public domain. The icon on the site is an adaptation of the logo.

Perl icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/perl5.png The onion is the logo of the Perl Foundation. It is trademarked, and we have adapted it--changing the color--with their permission. The Perl Foundation does not support or endorse Exercism.

Perl 6 icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/perl6.png The Perl 6 "Camelia" logo is owned by Larry Wall and is released under version 2.0 of the Artistic License. We are using it to identify the Perl 6 language itself, not any part of Exercism, which we believe to be admissible under fair use. The version of the logo that we are using is a pink, black and white adaptation of the logo found on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perl_6.

Python icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/python.png The Python logo is an unregistered trademark. We are using a derived logo with the permission of the Python Software Foundation.

R icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/r.png The R logo was created by Hadley Wickham and others at RStudio. The original file is licensed under version 4.0 of the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike license. We have adapted it, changing the colour scheme, for use on Exercism.

Racket icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/racket.png The Racket logo was created by Matthias.f at en.wikipedia and released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license. We adapted the Racket logo, creating a black/white version of it to use on Exercism.

Scheme icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/scheme.png The Scheme logo (same as the Racket logo) was created by Matthias.f at en.wikipedia and released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license. We adapted the logo, creating a pink/black version to use on Exercism.

Ruby icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/ruby.png The Ruby icon is the Vienna.rb logo, and is used with permission. Thanks Floor Dress :)

Rust icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/rust.png The Rust Logo is created by the Mozilla Corporation, and has been released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. We tweaked the color from black to charcoal (#212121).

Scala icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/scala.png The Scala icon used on Exercism is inspired by the official Scala logo, which is copyright École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

Swift icon http://exercism.io/img/tracks/swift.png The icon used on Exercism has been adapted from the official Swift logo, which is in the public domain.
