Related issues option is missing

I have noticed that my "Related issues" options are not available underneath an issue's details. a search in google claims that this plugin is the cause!

the last link claims the issues has been resolved but i have installed 1.4.0 of Redmine, and it is still a problem.

I am also experiencing this problem, though have Redmine 1.3 installed.
