A matplotlib backend to display plots inline in the terminal (in IPython) would be nice. See https://github.com/oselivanov/matplotlib_iterm2 for one way to do it.

An easier way to enable it than what that project uses would also be nice (like import iterm2_tools, %load_ext iterm2_tool.matplotlib or something).
