Thanks for the rapid update! Yeah it's a shame to need to pin a fast moving core package like pip, making tedious chore updates necessary just to track it. Longer term maybe it'd be better to keep it unpinned by default but have a setting / command line option to lock its version similar to setting the python version? |

@andrewleech yeah this is just a temporary thing. I'm toying around with replacing pip-tools entirely but unfortunately I'm quite swamped at the moment so I'm making very little progress :( |
