Name the new concept
Stellar streams

Describe the concept
this could be put under "Galaxy structure" and is related to "Tidal tails"
http://astrothesaurus.org/uat/1701. At present there is only Magellanic Stream http://astrothesaurus.org/uat/991,
which could be related to 1701. Note that Magellanic Stream is mostly gas, and not a
stellar stream !

Dr. Carl Grillmair of the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center at Caltech also agrees that "Stellar streams" would be a useful concept.

Relationship between "Stellar streams" and "Galaxy tails" ? Looks like a tail trails away from a galaxy, while a stream orbits a galaxy.
