Hi

I am wanting to know if I buy the SAAS book, am I going to learn everything that one would learn from the other book (book 1) + more ?

Or would I need both books to cover the full gambit?

I'm not really concerned with the cost per se I just don't want to buy both books if I don't need to I would rather just have all the information i need in one document.

thanks!

Hi @pookiepats Thanks for the question and really appreciate your interest in our books!

There is some overlap in the initial app setup for both books, but then they both cover some unique topics. For example, only Builder Book covers MailChimp and GitHub APIs. Only SaaS Boilerplate covers websockets.

Generally, Builder Book will provide greater depth into some more basic topics (like HTTP, API, and asynchronous execution), and SaaS Boilerplate goes into more advanced topics.

A good place to compare the books is in the section "What will you learn?" of both introductions:

You can also look at the Table of Contents (left-side menu) for both books.
