After v0.95, the next version may take into account @schreibe comments:

To think about

In construct_terminal_cmd, is the set force_decpoint on really needed? Well, I guess it does no harm...

Would require a more recent gretl version (I think min. 2022c)

More stuff for the future to-do list: replace the "null" keyword with "empty" (or deflist() and so on).

Further ideas:

Add more arguments to the GUI function, such as a tick box for the grid, key position, etc. Then, all you have to do is use the to fill up an option bundle inside the GUI function.
Support for other formats apart from png (pdf, eps, svg)
