Slack notification of the Jira comment

Jira text formatting syntax is rendered correctly in Jira but is shown in raw form in Slack notifications.
Possible solutions:

Translate the syntax to the Slack equivalent (requires a lot of work)
Stripping Jira syntax out of the comment bodies (similar to Fixed leaking color syntax from Jira to Slack #146)
