There is a tiny space given by sublime between the line numbers and the first character (see pics).

Sorry for my ignorance, I am sure this is configurable.. If everyone agrees, maybe it would be good to use it as default?

I'm not sure exactly how, but this sounds to me like something that might even be possible to do via your own stylesheet, adding some padding to the left of the editor or something...

Sure, I am trying to collect feedback and then create a PR to make this default :)

Just realised this belongs to the default theme repository.. atom/atom-dark-ui#30
