Atom isn't pasting #4052
Comments
Once again, are you able to reproduce this in safe mode? |
Absolutely. This is 100% reproducible disabling/removing all plugins and running in safe mode. |
We're going to need more information to figure out what the problem is, since this is seemingly working fine for everyone else; what OS, including version, are you running? Also have you downloaded an official build of Atom, have you built from source, or perhaps using some unofficial build? E.g. WebUpd8 or similar. |
I'm on Arch Linux, x64. Atom was downloaded with yaourt (pacman). |
Hold on! Can't reproduce that neither, after the mysterious "config-cleanup" from my other bug report. |
Nope, can't reproduce anymore. Will re-open if I can discover how to reproduce it again. |

I have Atom .141 and I'm not sure if this is a bug in this version or if it has been like this for a long period of time, but the entire
paste
functionality is completely broken.Following my previous bug report (#4050), I'm showing how copying and then trying to paste a TAB character will fail, presumably because Atom thinks it's clever enough to auto-ident, perhaps?
