How to escape special character "{" while accessing properties.

I have requirement to query schema and access property as follows. But it has '{' and '}' in the property name, So it is able to query and return the object. Could you please help on this.

Example:
jsonQuery("paths./users/{user_id}.get", {"data": schema}).value;
