same problem here - for now replaced this dependency with:

Hi, do you have any updates on this. I had to investigate some hours for a fix of the killing of process, then I found this commit #71 and installed the package via Github and not PIP.

since I used this inside docker , I used dumb-init to start the container and it won't spawn zombie processes anymore
