MIP-007: DAO Governance Participatory Committee

Summary

Create a new committee that will participate (propose and vote) on governance forums across other DeFI protocols such as Convex and Frax, on behalf of the MET DAO.

Motivation

The treasury has recently acquired a position in CVX. The intention is to stake that CVX and vote with it each cycle to guarantee rewards in CRV and CVX paid to liquidity providers across the synthetic assets.

Due to the need to access these funds for the purpose of voting and otherwise on a recurring basis, this proposal designates a committee as the "DAO Governance Participatory Committee", rather than centralizing this recurring activity through the Metronome Treasury.

The DAO Governance Participatory Committee will receive the entirety of the CVX position, which will be locked up appropriately. Future acquisitions for the express purpose of participating in DAO governance may also be designated to the DAO Governance Participatory Committee.

The Governance Participatory Committee will have the autonomy to vote with these tokens as seen best fit.

Specification

The Gnosis Safe 0xf9EEB67238dfb16E6bbF14Ab560D18b740f820a9 is to be designated for the  Governance Participatory Committee.
