On FreeBSD 12.0-RC1 LanguageClient#textDocument_references timeouts and gets the vim-side plugin into a broken state where no further client command works.
LanguageClient#textDocument_definition seems to work.
There must be some platform-specific issue as the same configuration works on Linux.
Environment
neovim/vim version: editors/neovim 0.3.1
This plugin version (git rev-parse --short HEAD): 95608f5
This plugin's binary version (bin/languageclient --version): languageclient 0.1.127 95608f5
To Reproduce
cd~/.vim/bundle
git clone https://github.com/autozimu/LanguageClient-neovim --depth=1 --branch=next
cd LanguageClient-neovim
make release
nn <silent> <M-,> :call LanguageClient#textDocument_references({'includeDeclaration': v:false})<cr>
Click M-,, the split window uses fzf to display Location[]. However, after I select an item and press Enter, the vim-side plugin does not jump to that location, but instead, it gets into a broken state where no LanguageClient#* command works. textDocument/documentHighlight highlight gets stuck and doesn't update. https://github.com/MaskRay/ccls/wiki/LanguageClient-neovim#textdocumentdocumenthighlight
In another shell, truss -p $(pgrep -fn languageclient) displays:
write(1,"{"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32603,"message":"timed out waiting on channel"},"id":55}\n",91) = 91
