The licenses on the Go files are currently expired (They all mention 2023), and there is none on the Rust files.
We should probably try to seek for a tool like gofumpt but for Rust (supposing gofumpt only supports go) as well as updating the licensing year.
Avalanchego hardcodes the year while the hypersdk writes {{YEAR}} which is a magic value handled by go-licences, it just doesn't produce any error because the licence is here and matching the regex. We should probably do accordingly.
