What is the unit of the products, such as 'psf.fits' and 'science_cube.fits'.
counts/s or counts, or other?

The unit is counts/s, so you can directly compare values in psf.fits and science_cube.fits. I will add a keyword in the FITS headers to specify the units in a future release.
