This "anonimization" option is a good idea.

I presume the mapping from the pseudonym to the actual content is kept on the "client-side", so indeed, someone tapping the wire or ChatGPT itself could not easily convert it back to the original. If the answer from OpenAI is fast, the mapping could be ad-hoc, stored in RAM.
