Collection margin does not allow arrow keys movement and shows no option

Describe the bug

Margin selection does not allow a user use arrow keys to move left and right to edit a specific value. The field needs to be removed fully and re-entered to correct a value. On selection the field also shows no option.

Expected behavior

make the option more user friendly and show correct messaging

1. Create a collection
2. try to edit the margin and observe the behaviour
