Goal:
To see if it is possible to have a Pipeline in Region A include an Action stage (in my case ElasticBeanstalkDeployAction) in Region B, deploying the app in the same region (B).
In the CodePipeline console I could set where the ElasticBeanstalk Deploy does it's business. Thought CDK may have the same properties and found
ActionProperties
which mentions region, but (as evident in the code below) I'm not quite sure how to use these and couldn't find much info online.Questions:
How do you include the simple properties (actionProperties) of the Action ?
Is there anything else that needs attention on CDK side when doing cross region Pipeline - Action relationships ?
Advise would be very much appreciated.
