How to obtain an S3ServiceException with the $retryable attribute locally for debugging?

When receiving S3ServiceException, my service code will check the error.$retryable attribute to determine whether to retry.
code example:

async _doGetS3WithRetries(params, retryTimes = 0) {
    if (retryTimes > 0) { console.info(`Retrying download chunks... ${retryTimes}`); }
    if (retryTimes === 3) { return Promise.reject(`Too many retries.`); }

    try {
      return await this.s3.send(new GetObjectCommand(params));
    } catch (err) {
      if (err.$retryable) { return this._doGetS3WithRetries(params, retryTimes + 1); }
    }

    return Promise.reject('Too many retries when downloading from S3.');
  }

I want to verify whether this part of the code is effective. Can you tell me how to obtain an S3ServiceException which the $retryable attribute is true.
