Currently I get errors when running the .Net SDK on Ubunutu 14.04 which comes with Mono 3.2.8

Can you please change the underlying communication to support Mono?

It would be great to have mono support out of the box

I had the same issue -- upgrade mono to 3.10 and it eliminates 99% of the errors. Its still not quite production stable but good enough if you wrap it in plenty of try-catch handlers.
