@bls20AWS True , in AWS docs they reference it as AWS Lambda functions but for step functions it is referenced as AWS Step Functions

AWS Step Functions is the product Name Like AWS Lambda. But Lambda functions is not a product name, so the guidelines tell us to it should be “Lambda functions”.
