When I download an edited theme on Windows I get standard .tmTheme file. I just add it to themes folder of ST in Windows and all works fine - I can set a new theme from ST2.

Now I'm on Ubuntu. And I did the same with IDLE theme. But instead of IDLE.tmTheme file I got some IDLE.bin file.

How may I add this .bin file to themes? Where themes are stored in Ubuntu, in what directory?

This is really weird. Just tested it on my Virtual Machine (Ubuntu 12.10, Chrome 24) and it works perfectly fine.
please provide more information about it to allow me investigate it in more details.
You should put tmTheme files inside your User folder inside Packages folder of sublime text.
to find you Packages folder in sublime text press ctrl+shift+p and type Browse Packages

So, I learned what caused the problem when I tried to repeat all the steps. I'm a newbie with Ubuntu and don't know some things. Actually I use kubuntu-desktop over Xubuntu, not pure Ubuntu. And the Dolphin is the default file manager in kubuntu-desktop.

So, when I press a Download button in http://tmtheme-editor.herokuapp.com/ to download an edited theme a Dolphin file manager is opened. And at the bottom of its window there is a check-box Automatically select filename extension (.bin). And by default it was checked. I never noticed it before. When I unchecked it the file became IDLE.tmTheme for saving.

I'm sorry to bother you. Now all works fine. Thanks for the great application.
