i have checked and confirm python2.7 and python3.4 inside my cygwin/bin but typing python gave me "FAIL". Any idea why this happen?

Tested vim was working and once updated with pact, it fail. What is the issue with pact?

@chanux - confirming that running update.bat manually as suggested in #720 fixes python upgrade issues.
