Differential backup on archive adapter

Hi, there are problem to create a differential tar on the archive, is this possibility planned or not?

Hi, i've been out of office ... sorry!!
I see that tar let doing incremental backup with a simple shell command, i nned to do some test to understand if could be interesting to develop.
I'll do a fork if i find a good solution i'll pull to you!
