How to Design Programs

How to Design Programs documentation is totally abstract, and you're going to have a very hard time understanding it if you haven't already worked your way through the book. Even then, they're often not easy to understand at-a-glance.

Shorthand documentation like this is very handy when you've got a thorough understanding of how to read it though. And because the text can feel overly academic, that can take a long time (and maybe impossible without a teacher/mentor).
