Meeting Jan 30 2019

Minutes:

• Split project into module (+CLI) and Django. Module will interact with DB via API

• Use ADS referencing as unique reference for Refereces Class.

• Action items:

  • Conceptual design of the data model
  • Use off-the-shelf User model (authentication, etc)
  • Standardised scripts for data ingestion. Make use of Astroquery and Vizier (requires one-to-many relation between vizier names and existing DB parameters).
  • For Bologna. Eduardo will submit an extra abstract and contact the LOC/SOC. Goals until then: have a working DB and module to query it via API. User interface can wait.
