Just started using Balena with No Luck

• Windows 10.0.19042 Build 19042
• Image flashed: balena-cloud-balena-adguard-raspberrypi4-64-2.69.1+rev1-v12.3.5.img and 2020-12-02-octopi-buster-armhf-lite-0.18.0.img
• SD card flashing always fails on verification and then the card is inaccessible until removed and reinserted. I have tried 3 cards now and 2 different adapters.

Same here. I hope they fix it otherwise our only hope is to try to flash them using os x or linux. 😢
Also I've noticed that if the drive is not properly formatted for the target it also have some problems. So its best to just add zeros (dd on linux) or clean on windows (diskpart) and no format, just leave them.

• Nevertheless both don't work
• almost every time fails on verification but for me at the very end at 99%
• it seems its related to opened Lock the drive to prevent failure on verification #3197 and closed Etcher Flashing Validation Failed #1725 issues

Note: On Linux we can use AppImage if we want just to start Etcher & burn them ⏩
