"Installing Riak CS" does not have a complete set of Riak CS / Riak installation and configuration instructions, yet it's the first item in the menu bar:

http://docs.basho.com/riakcs/latest/cookbooks/installing/Installing-Riak-CS/

Only the "Building a Local Test Environment" section of "The Riak CS Fast Track" has complete instructions that will lead to a working Riak CS installation:

http://docs.basho.com/riakcs/latest/tutorials/fast-track/Building-a-Local-Test-Environment/

There is also a slight discrepancy - http://docs.basho.com/riakcs/latest/tutorials/fast-track/Building-a-Local-Test-Environment/ notes the possible lib vs lib64 difference, but http://docs.basho.com/riakcs/latest/cookbooks/configuration/Configuring-Riak-CS/ doesn't.

I've noticed all these too, will require some rework.

See branch jrd-cs-install (or some such) for WIP

Thinking that the Riak CS install document (and download doc) I've been working on in jrd-cs-install should be moved to the operations section, with the fast track as the authoritative installation docs for someone who just wants to get started.

The Riak CS install docs still need some work/love, but they are no longer hopelessly broken. Closing.
