I have 15 HP Z800 computers with clone HDDs and 5 will not wake up, but will sleep with the WAKE ON LAN. 2 computers are windows 7 and 3 are Windows 10. They turn off with WAKE ON LAN but don't turn on with WAKE ON LAN. I see the message "not responding" I have checked the fire walls on the computers. I have compared the good pc to the pc that don't start. Any ideas thank you.

It will continue to say "not responding" until the destination computer comes online and responds to ping. Let's simplify the troubleshooting. On the computer that is not waking up, install WOL and start the "listener" function. That will display all incoming wake up messages. Send a wake up from your base computer. If it doesn't display the message, then the UDP port 9 message is not being delivered.
Is the computer on the same subnet? Switches or routers in between? If it IS being delivered then you have a different problem. The machine is not configured for WOL or doesn't support it.

We need to start simple and determine where the problem is.
