You will still be able to use AirLink (or ALVR if you prefer that) but virtual desktop won't work if you fully remove your account, tho it will work if you only disable updates or telemetry

I don't need virtual desktops, just the ability to move the headset to a more spacious room without moving my PC physically.

oh, Virtual Desktop is just an alternative to AirLink. the normal virtual desktop mirroring in AirLink will still work

After disabling telemetry and removing accounts, I'm no longer able to use Airlink
