nixnote2/now 2.0 amd64 [installed,upgradable to: 2.0.2-2build1]

The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
libqt5qevercloud3
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove it.
The following packages have been kept back:
nixnote2
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

Hi, by coincidence I also just installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.. and I can confirm, that the original install command for stable release still works: sudo apt update sudo apt install nixnote2
(Note: I did not do upgrade to 18.04, but just installed it from scratch (reformatted the disk with older Ubuntu version). So in your case some "apt" magic may be needed.. :) But the package is in 18.04 and works OK.)
