Currently, foreign_rules_cc captures the cmake output log (CMake.log; this is helpful for some types of debugging. However, I was hoping it could also capture the cmake configure logs; these are the files that in <3.26 versions of cmake are BUILD_DIR/CMake{Output,Error}.log and >= 3.26 are supposed to be retrieved via the cmake-configure-log file api. They're pretty useful in debugging packages, but currently (I think?) they're lost during the cleanup.
