To confirm final requirements following confirmation from NSLSC - Jan 16, 2024
User Story
As a Ministry user I want to be able to 're-generate' a student's MSFAA so that it re-associates the original MSFAA with all applications and re-sends an MSFAA request via flat file to NSLSC so the MSFAA can be signed/validated.
Description of Task
Whenever Ministry staff click re-generate MSFAA on a student's NoA, ensure that a new record is generated on the next daily MSFAA 'send' file to NSLSC with Student details + original MSFAA number + MSFAA status = 'Requested'. This allows student to 're-sign' their MSFAA with NSLSC to re-activate it, similar to what they did the first time they were issued an NoA.
Current Behaviour:
When Ministry staff click 'regenerate', the following things occur:
Re-associates original MSFAA with all active applications
Changes MSFAA 'signed' date to [date when MSFAA was re-generated]
Removes any conditions blocking disbursement
eCert will eventually be issued, but will fail with NSLSC because the associated MSFAA is no longer listed as 'active' with NSLSC - this is the issue which needs to be solved
Acceptance Criteria:
When an MSFAA is re-generated, include a record for that student on the next MSFAA send file
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Confirmed with Feds that NSLSC manually re-instates student's MSFAA when contacted by SABC. Therefore we do NOT have to include the student in the MSFAA file when re-generating their MSFAA.
