I recently purchased a brushless dc motor that has inputs for three different speed control levels (high, mid, low). Is there a way that I could assign these electronic "gears" to IO pins and activate the correct one based on the spindle speed?

A new spindle class could be created to to make this work, but since this is the first time I have heard of one of these, it would not be a priority of the primary development team.
Please provide a link to the documentation on the spindle controller.
