  • Some other monospace/programming fonts supported this character. Provide images below.

The following characters are omitted from present and future Symbols For Legacy Computing {Supplement} blocks and are unified with emoji:

There exists this proposal to Unicode to disunify these symbols, but as of currently, the new codepoints are only preliminarily assigned and not formally accepted. However, even if they were accepted, I believe it would be useful to have the existing currently-unified characters in the font in parallel as compatibility aliases.

I may perhaps wait for a final Unicode update (U16 I think).
