There is a datatype in the spec hdf5 format files (full spectra on the BEAST spectral grid) that is not supported by h5py.
This means that the regression check is currently not run on the spec files as this check uses h5py.
In addition, this locks the BEAST use of hdf5 files to pytables (at least in my understanding).

The incompatible datatype is the 'keep' boolean column. So this is handled in issue #73.
