Apparently Instagram (Facebook) is deprecating their current API as of July 2018, and switching to a new Graph API.

Need to investigate and probably re-work everything to use the new API.

Apparently will continue to be available until "early 2020".

Might be able to use this Basic Display API, although it looks very... basic.

Instagram import has stopped working and will stop completely from March 31, 2020

Will the Instagram integration be functional again at some point? Was really looking forward to using it.

There's a new Instagram Basic Service for Keyring (the underlying library behind this importer), so I'll have to look and see if that gives enough functionality to continue importing.

Not sure if this is the right issue for this or not, but my photo blog stopped importing from tha 'gram (Service Connections test page says: This connection is NOT working correctly.) & this seems as good a place as any for my inquiry:

Is there a work-in-progress somewhere to support the new API? I'm happy to contribute to a solution, but didn't want to start from scratch if someone already has something going. I meant to give the new API a go prior to the shutdown, but, obviously, did not!

Cheers!
