BUG: 4.x Release Blocker - Code editing disabled after submitting a query #2075

To replicate:

Open a query tab
Type a query (select * from film)
Hit ctrl+enter to submit
Wait for the results
Start typing again
Notice you cannot type, but you can backspace / add new lines

Workaround: disabling spreadsheet mode in the result table fixes it. Likely it's something Oli introduced.

What works:

switching to another tab, then switching back, allows you to edit again
switching to another app then switching back allows you to edit again
resizing the pane allows you to edit again
