It would be great if this could be packaged so that it were more easy to install, for example as an Appimage. If there were a .deb that would be terrific.

Or perhaps the LBRY development team could integrate this functionality into the LBRY client. They surely want people to seed content. Have they been notified?

Yes, I would like to release an AppImage and a single Windows executable, but it takes time. Maybe I'll look into this next month, after I release some new functionality in the following weeks.

Yes, ideally these tools would be integrated into the LBRY Desktop application. The LBRY core developers are aware of this project, however, they have other priorities, more in the blockhain and wallet server side, so the graphical interface hasn't been updated much.
