The generated HTML code in Person and Event lists has a href around every field in the table. Add the ref around the whole row so that the serialised HTML is smaller.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to do this. One can add a javascript 'onclick' event to the row, but then the row isn't higlighted as a link, as it's not part of the normal html layer.
