It would be really nice if you could simply drag&drop files on stackedit from the finder and could work on those local files. They would be saved as well.

The drag&drop will work only over the textarea.

@benweet Are you sure the files get saved after editing? Doesn't seem to work for me at least...

Nope. This is an import. Basically, you can't just edit a local file from your browser, you are in a sandbox.

I'm not that into the new HTML5 APIs. But isn't that possible with the File/Filesystem API?
